Grace Pamba Odanga

Grace Pamba Odanga, teacher and international model in great demand, born and raised in Kenya, lives since the end of 2008 with her Austrian husband in Vienna. Living directly in both cultures it was obvious to create an engagement in this field.
Together with her husband Arno Richard Rainer she established the Charity Association “Pamba Familia” and started the campaign in co-operation with renowned photographers by publishing the first stamp.

Grace Pamba Odanga doesn’t not only engage herself for social project “Pamba Familia”, but also supports amongst others “Österreichische Krebshilfe” participating the “Pink Ribbon Run 2010” in Vienna and Life Ball 2010 by modelling for the “Stylebible” free of charge.

A Short Story About Naming Of „Pamba Familia“:Swahili - the language of all Kenyans in common - “Pamba” stands for “Cotton” and our hygiene towels are made of cotton. “Pamba” also connotes “to beautify”, “to decorate”. Familia (third syllable is stressed) stands for “family”. Coincidentally Grace’ middle name also is “Pamba” and as a result of this the message is: Grace Pamba Odanga “beautifies” and “decorates” families- in one sentence: doing something good!
